Six bingo Clubs rebrand from 1st October 2009
September 28, 2009. Posted under UK BingoBeacon Entertainments is set to re-brand its six bingo clubs under the Beacon Bingo name from 1st October 2009. The Riva clubs at Brighton and Streatham (South London) and the Hippodrome club in Lowestoft are changing their names to Beacon Bingo joining the three existing Beacon clubs at Cricklewood, Northampton and Loughborough.
All three new Beacon sites will have re-designed signage incorporating the classic Beacon torch.
Major refurbishment works are taking place at Loughborough and Brighton with contemporary interiors and new external enclosed smoking terraces. In Northampton, Beacon is opening an innovative “B2” area within the club offering “noisy” bingo together with quiz nights, a comedy club, cabaret specials and Rock and Roll Bingo. Including major electrical improvements at Streatham, Beacon Entertainments is investing over £500,000 throughout its six clubs.
As part of the re-brand, over 95,000 new Beacon membership cards have been sent out to existing players at all six clubs. The mailing includes details of an 18 day promotional extravaganza beginning 1st October which includes over £125,000 worth of prizes and the chance to win a fabulous “Ticket 2 Paradise” in a free draw on Sunday evening 18th October.
Commenting on the re-brand, Chairman Brian Mattingley said: “I am delighted to announce the re-brand of three of our bingo clubs under the Beacon umbrella and invite existing players and new members alike to share in the celebrations at all of our clubs during our 18 day extravaganza”.
